About Tutor

With a strong foundation in Mathematics and Physics, I understand the critical role these subjects play in the field of Electrical Engineering. From basic concepts like statistics, calculus, algebra, geometry, and trigonometry to advanced, application-based topics, mastery of mathematics is essential for becoming a successful engineer. I am deeply passionate about teaching and have been educating students in Physics and Mathematics for over three years, covering grades 6 to 12, including IB MYP Standard & Extended Mathematics, IBDP Mathematics AI, and IGCSE Mathematics. As an IBDP Mathematics AI Examiner, I have moderated numerous Internal Assessments (IAs) over the past two years. My experience teaching at top international IB schools in Pakistan, along with three international training sessions, has provided me with valuable insights into effective teaching strategies. Holding a BS degree in Electrical Engineering with Distinction from LUMS, I am committed to helping students solidify their understanding of core concepts and achieve their best possible performance in exams.

In January 2022, I switched to another top IB World School of Pakistan: Lahore Grammar School International, DHA Phase 8, Lahore, where I am currently working as an IBMYP Standard & Extended Mathematics (MYP1, 2, 4, 5) Teacher on a full-time basis. Just like in April/May 2021, I was successful in marking around 105 Internal Assessments for IBDP Mathematics Applications & Interpretations (AI SL) as an IB Examiner for the session April/May 2022. IBDP & IBMYP Mathematics Teacher & Examiner.

Following my graduation from LUMS, I got selected by one of the best IB World Schools in Pakistan, to be a part of their mathematics faculty as a full-time teacher in September 2019. During these 2.5 years, I taught MYP Standard & Extended Mathematics (MYP3, 4, 5), IBDP Mathematics SL and IBDP Mathematics AI SL (DP1 & 2). I also managed to qualify for the IB Examiner Moderating the Internal Assessments for IBDP Mathematics AI SL for the session April/May 2021. As I am always ready to dedicate myself to the highest standards of learning to exceed the expectations for the position in question, I went through various trainings and certifications, namely Mathematics: A focus on internal assessment (Cat.3), Mathematics: Delivering the MYP Curriculum Category 2, Developing Reflective Practitioners & Teaching with 21st Century Skills (ATL) in Mind by Lance King.
