About Tutor

As an established international poet, my poems have been translated into English, German, French, Spanish, Slovenian, Italian, Romanian, Persian, Greek and Hebrew. The Sea Within (Selected Poems) was published by Shearsman Books in 2011, and her second book Vielleicht Lautlos was published by Elif Verlag in 2017. Having participated in international poetry readings in various countries abroad, I was granted numerous poetry awards. I translated five children’s books and I am currently translating the Collected Poems of Sylvia Plath. I am in the editorial board of some literature and translation magazines and in the committee of international poetry festival. My research interests are Poetry, Literary Criticism, Translation, Translation Theories, Gender Studies, Visual Arts, Photography, Film Studies, TOK, Extended Essay and CAS. I myself have the passion and urge to learn more and this inspires my students for being a lifelong learner.

Film and TOK IBDP Teacher, EE Coordinator

My credentials include a doctorate’s and master’s degree in English Language and Literature along with International Baccalaureate Diploma Program trainings and hold Certificates of TOK, Film and Extended Essay. I have been teaching TOK and EE from the core of IBDP Programme and also Film as part of the Group 6 Arts lesson. This is a great opportunity to demonstrate my students the intertwining educational policy of IBDP.
