About Tutor

Allen is a highly experienced English educator with 24 years of classroom teaching and over three decades of expertise in IB Diploma English. He began his career teaching grades 8-12 in Canada for nine years before transitioning to an international teaching journey that took him to Honduras, South Korea, and Oman. Though retired from classroom teaching, Allen remains an active and passionate online English tutor. Since 1991, Allen has been teaching IB Diploma English courses and has served as an IB examiner since 2002. He holds a Master’s degree in English (Drama) and specializes in helping students excel in academic writing and text analysis. His online work focuses on assisting students with the Individual Oral (IO), HL Essay, and preparation for Papers 1 and 2
